Hi There , I would like to use my dedicated graphics and onboard graphics together for tipple monitor setup , My question is if use dedicated graphics and onboard graphics together for long time is there will be any problem in future for my hardware ? Like is that will be a chance to damage the motherboard or processor or any other component ?

My PC Configuration :
- AMD Ryzen 5 5600G
- MSI B450-A PRO MAX AMD GAMING MOTHERBOARD
- KINGSTON FURY BEAST 8GB 3200MHZ DDR4 DESKTOP RAM
- GT 710 Graphics Card

Please let me know if you have this information ,
Thanks in advance

as Rusty has said, motherboards will disable the onboard graphics if it detects an add-on graphics card.
but.... I seem to recall ages ago that I did come across a rig that was running both options.
a little bell is ringing in my head that I have seen this once or twice, but overall, 99.8% of the time, you can only have one.

either way, if you do get lucky and are able to run both, in no way will that damage anything.

I have Intel graphics + nVidia graphics & under nVidia control panel there’s an option for choosing the graphics, mostly ’let Windows decide’ is active but with graphics heavy apps like video editing or gaming then it’s best to change this to nVidia.
