Hi, I upgraded a Toshiba Satellite A100 from windows vista to windows 10 and I have internet connection problems. It doesn't show any network and in the device manager the Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection and the Qualcomm Atheros AR5006EG Wireless Network Adapter are having the yellow triangle. I tried to deactivate and activate the two devices a lot of times and finally worked but after I restart my device I have the same problem. I tried to update their drivers but they are already updated. There are a lot of devices with the yellow triangle in the device manager. It doesn't work the scrolling on the touchpad too. Any ideas?

I just chat with microsoft and told me to type sfc/scannow at the command prompt as administrator and after the scan finishes to restart the laptop and it will fix the issue. I did it and I have the same problem.

You will have to do a fresh install using the Windows 7 install media.

Yes you will have to get the drivers best place to do that is the Toshiba web site so you get the proper ones for your system.

You think windows 8 will work with this laptop?

Also from my research win 7 was the last os supported by that laptop.. I suppose you could go with Linux OS.

I deactivate and activate again the wireless driver and I got connected. What to do now because if I'll restart the laptop I'll have the same problem.

Which OS are you running now there were several discussed. The system is just not capable to run windows 10 and you will continuously have issues since the hardware in the system is out dated.

I'm running windows 10 pro. The problems I noticed so far are the internet connection, the bluetooth and the touchpad's scrolling. Everything else is working so far.

I just plugged in the wireless usb adapter. I got connected right away. Everything's fine. Thank all for your help.
