My icons aren't showing on anything and all of my icons are corrupted
unknown.png

I reset icon cache and it remained the same.

While waiting for other to post try this...

What steps were taken?

Have you tried a DISM and or SFC?

Do you have another user that you can log into to see if the same thing is happening there?

I reset the icon cache database and tried a DISM and SFC, none worked. I logged into another user on the PC and the same problem is present.
I am also not sure if this is related, but there was a forum attached to the first link that recommended rebuilding the icon thumbnail cache that had a step in opening the disc properties which I tried, but it wouldn't let me open the properties.

whats the free space now?
use CCleaner or Glary Disk Cleaner to go through your system and really clean out the junk.
the drive needs about 15% free space to suffer no ill-effects.

the icon cache issue is something else.
have you tried this; https://www.top-password.com/blog/fix-desktop-icons-show-only-text-in-windows-10/
can you right click the desktop shortcut, Properties and Change Icon?

what is your OS build and version?

I'm at 25 gb of 111 gb, and I followed the steps in the link provided and it didn't work, and I can't even select properties when I right click a shortcut or program, it doesn't open anything. My OS is 18362.1139 Windows 10

running out of options.
have you tried Restore Points and going back one, two or three to see if that reverts the system back to before the issue occurring?
if no luck, I'd be getting the latest build using Windows Media Creation Tool and making a bootable USB stick from that image.
the upgrade should be large enough (component wise) to also cover your issue.

failing that, let's try a repair install of Windows.
click on the Start icon, and literally start typing reset, it'll show a Best Match of Reset This PC, click that.
click Get Started, then Keep my files, you won't lose any personal data but you'll have to reload your software again.

and lastly, unless others have different options to try, it's the big hammer - fresh install of Windows.
