My first post here, been having this issue for a couple weeks that has me stumped. I have an HP model 15-ac121dx Here's what's up: when I go to turn on my laptop, whether it be actually booting it up or just turning it on from sleeping, the display around 75% of the time does not come on properly. The computer itself runs, and I can verify through looking through a second display that it does boot normally, just no display. This has resulted in me restarting my laptop until the screen works. Sometimes it will have a faint flashing, other times, no screen at all. Here's what I've tried so far:
-Updating graphics drivers
-Updating the BIOS
-Doing a power reset
-Checking and reinserting the physical memory
-Thoroughly cleaning each part of the hardware
-Checking the monitor for any damage
-Unplugging and re plugging in the monitor.
-Using a different monitor I had
-Googling the solution (multiple times!)
Everything done here has led me to no improvement, and thus I am seeking some help. If anyone can assist me with this, I would be grateful. Thanks in advance!
