Current BIOS is not compatible with Windows 10 ?
Issue -
I acquired a rebuilt PC on eBay with one year warranty at a significantly reduced price.
The plan is to obtain several more inexpensive units so I can outfit a small office dedicated to helping special needs adults.
Shame on me.
The system arrived with Windows 8 installed, and at some point it was auto upgraded to Windows 10.
After updating to Windows 10 the PC worked great...unit it needed to start/restart.
I immediately emailed the company that is still selling these units on eBay.
The technician responded very quickly, stating I needed to update the bios from K01 V2.05 to K01 V2.85.
After a week of searching the BIOS update still could not be located.
Since recommending the BIOS update two months agao, the company has ignored all further communications even though it is still under warranty.
Conclusion -
I assume the current BIOS K01 V02.05 does not support Windows 10.
I assume I must to update to BIOS K01 V2.85 (and no further).
I ***-u-me this has the potential to turn the unit into an expensive boat anchor if done incorrectly.
I don't have a clue where to obtain the BIOS update nor what is needed to install in on this legacy system.
Is there a qualified expert that may have a 'polite' thought or suggestion to address?

Symptoms -
Access Windows 10 start menu, and select option to restart.
Monitor turns off, Hard Drive Activity Light flickers, and Power On Light remains on.
There is no further activity for five to ten minutes until the PC eventually proceeds in the restart process.
Iniitally for approximately one minute there is no noticeable activity.
Then a loud spinning sound starts up, similar in sound to that of a fan motor slowly reaching maxiumum RPM.
Sound continues for a few minutes and then starts to slowly go away.
When sound stopes, a blue screen appears on monitor with option to either select 'Windows' or 'Recovery'.
Selecting 'Windows' the unit continues to Windows menu and then runs flawlessly (until it needs to be started/restarted).
