Hello,

I have an HP Compaq 6910p which refuses to turn on.

When I plug in the power cord the power led, volume +, volume - LEDs blink and the fan starts running for about 2 seconds and goes off then the fan restarts and LEDs light up again but doesn't go off.

The laptop displays a black screen. The HDD LED doesn't turn on.

What could be the problem?
 
OK..you will have to get a new battery or just try to run the laptop just using the charger..
