I have transfomed an old portable computer of mine into a server, but I can't find wol option anywhere in my bios, I don't even have power options. I only have these at the moment and my computer now runs on linux. I am only be able to work on it today because I won't be at home for the week.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Do I need to just keep it on ? The other reason as to why I wanted wol is that the outer shell is a bit broken and I am worried that it will break if I keep opening and closing it

To use as a server
Go to control panel
  • Choose from sleep, hibernate, shut down, and do nothing options when you close the notebook lid.
  • In Windows, search for and open Power Options.
  • Click Choose what closing the lid does from the list on the left side of the window.

Sorry, I forgot to add that I installed linux without a gui because I thought I would not use it. So I only have a linux terminal and the bios.
