I intend to back up everything on my PC, including applications such as Photoshop. How do i do this so that if something goes wrong (when i try to remove Kaspersky for instance) I can reinstall everything easily? Is it as simple as just transferring the folders in 'local disk C' to a backup drive? Thank you for your help.

software cannot be copied and pasted. let's face it - if it could we'd all be copying our friends/companies/neighbours software.
it has to be reinstall from the CD or downloaded file.

another way to go would be to use Macrium Reflect Free.
it can take a snapshot of your current system, then you make your changes and if things go south, restore back from the snapshot as if nothing happened.

Think, no I am sure, I recommended these to you before, but again these two free apps are pretty good. Aomei has a couple more features than Macrium but they both are good. There are many other free backup apps also. Is there any information you need that you did not receive last time you asked about this?
