Hi
My computer starts with a Black screen and "reboot and select proper boot device". I dont know what to do. I cant go to Any menu to fix it and I dont know which Keys to press. What do I do?

I have Windows 10 and it is an Asus computer. Not a laptop

Thank you

if you're lucky, you may have a USB stick, external drive or DVD inserted and the PC is trying to boot from those, so remove anything connected and try again.

otherwise you are looking at either a failing internal drive or a corrupted Windows installation.

get into BIOS by pressing either Esc, Del, F2 or F10 (it changes depending on what motherboard you have) and in the BIOS menu structure you should see an area that lists the Boot Devices and Boot Order.
see if you can identify your hard drive in the list.

This can indicate a failing hard drive.
Can you access Windows at all at any time?
Do you have access to another PC on which you can download a bootable recovery tool & burn it to a CD?
Run the hard drive test tool.
If it shows a problem then use the Macrium (or another Imaging software) to create a system image to backup the drive.
