I Say high graphic, I mean GTA V and Rocket league. I've built a pc before, worked fine, but I wanted to make another with better spec, but as it turns out, high graphic games like rocket league and gta v say they're launching but don't ever open. I've been trying to figure out what the problem is but just can't seam to find a solution.

Hi, yes I have made sure all drivers for video and chipset have been updated. Yes other games work like Rainbow Six Siege and the new WRC game. I have 64-bit.

I am using Windows 10 20H2, I've tried both clean boot and changed the power plan just now but is sadly the same result.

Not a gamer so of not of much help there but noticed that your thread title says that the games are not opening and in your OP that the games are not launching.

Are the games Steam downloads.

Yes most are, but I've also got rocket league downloaded on epic launcher and it does the same thing.

They are both the same thing but from different providers and fwiw Epic has been having issues for the past few days The fix is already live.

Have you opened a ticket with both Epic and Steam, they should be your first port of call with anything that you have paid them for only for it not to work.

We can check to see if this is hardware related for you to try and rule that out, once done we will provide a way of testing your GPU etc

If the computer is a desktop can you post the brand and model name or number of the power supply (PSU).

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

Not an appropriate PSU when there is an add on GPU present but not likely to be the cause of the issue here, we needed to know the information because the tests we do put the system under load and a poor quality PSU could go bang taking the rest of the system with it, fyi, VS = value series which are the cheapest that Corsair make, they are made with lower quality components to keep costs down and that is why Corsair advise that they only be used for the most basic of PC such as is used at home or in an office.

Only thing that we can see in Speccy is that your RAM is too slow for your CPU and that the RAM is not working at the maximum speed that it is capable of, again though this will not be causing problems with any games launcher/s.

RAM
16.0GB Dual-Channel Unknown @ 1064MHz

Your RAM works best with 3200MHz RAM but the present RAM is only good at up to 2998MHz, to achieve this you need to go into the BIOS and enable XMP so that the RAM gets auto OCd to its max. do this then post back and we will post the testing info for you.

If the test ran and there was no problem with the video quality or the PC turning off consider the test as having been passed.

Have you run SUPERPOSITION yet.
