Hi Guys,
I haven't been around for a couple of years on here and when I came back today everything about me has been removed.
From memory I had over 500 post up. But I was able today to assume a new account with my old name.
What happened? Does anyone remember me?

Hey Heat Sink and welcome :)

In case you missed it, here's the scoop: PCHF.com was sold to a coroporation and has since been destroyed and is now deceased. I created PCHF.net back in 2015 to bring back from the dead the old PCHF :) That would be why everything, posts and profiles, are gone. We are rebuilt from scratch :)

Thanks for taking the time to talk to me.
I've started a question in 'software' about a recommended medium to download large files on my PC using Windows 7. Hope someone can help.

Hello Heat Sink and welcome again to PCHF, someone will help you in your other thread, not this one.

You want to come out here Allan? All you need are four main things and you are in, no trouble.
A clean bill of health.
A profession or trade.
$500000 or the equal in any currency to purchase a house.
Be under 55 years of age.
I always thought that it would be pretty neat if we could give 1000 we don't want for every successful applicant from your lot.
Plenty here to choose from to make that exchange.

Thanks Evan from home of the brave and land of the free. Been over your way a few times. You've got a bit of stuff there to look at.

Hang on Gus, select new settlers fleeing from the Old Country wouldn't want to go there so that wouldn't be a problem.
Now Wilcannia one of Sydney's western suburbs could be a desirable location.
That sort of money will get them a great house and there will be money left over for food and stuff.
Here are a couple of photos to help Allan come to a decision.
