So, a few days back I had a problem with my computer, it came out to be an issue with my VGA cable.
Long story short, when the PC started to boot, the screen would flash for 2 seconds and then go off. This would repeat after I turned the screen off and on again. Sometimes it would stay on and I would use it as normal with no issues at all. I tried the second screen, not used much because it has 1280x720 resolution, and I prefer using my 1440x900 one. And I tried my second PC, too. Same effect, that's why I think it's a problem with the cable.
Now, this is a post about my HDD, so why the hell I mentioned the VGA cable. Well, before I figured out that turning the monitor on and off a million times kind of fixed it, I restarded my PC as it boot up. A lot. And after I got it to actually display anything, I got the Windows logo and... Blue screen. Then again, and again. I tried my other HDDs (I have 5, but I use this one because it has 1TB of space, and the others have 160-260GB) and I got same reults. Switching SATA cables did nothing, same with SATA ports on Mobo. I then tried running the HDD in my other PC and... It worked. Perfectly fine, no issues, just a little slower and different resolution because I don't have an external GPU in it. It worked even with my original SATA cable.
And right now we are getting to the end. I fear, that the issue might be caused by me restarting the PC so much, it fried some of the components, or in the best case, the SATA ports.

The Blue screen has 0x00007b STOP code, aka problem with my HDD or it's drivers. But that can't be the case as it works fine in my second PC.

Any help, advice or fix ideas are really welcome. And yes, I made the account just to post this.

Alright:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
Cpu: Intel Core 2 Duo E4600 2.4ghz
Gpu: Gt710 1GB
8GB of RAM, DDR2
Toshiba 1TB, got it after I had both PCs, but I used it in the one that doesn't run it now.
It now just came to me, the issues started after the last Windows update.

For the motherboard and PSU, this PC model is Optiplex 755 by Dell, I only changed the RAM, GPU and PCU. So both mobo and psu are stock.

If you need any more info, ask me and I will try to provide it.

Oh my ***, just so you know, changing SATA operation seems to work. But I still need to know what could have caused all these issues.

Any updates?
After I solved the HDD issue I still have some problems with my monitors. One doesn't work at all, the other one turns on for 2 seconds and then goes black, with the power button still lit. This might be a backlight issue though.

Ok ..i would suggest that you start another thread about your graphics and monitors in (peripheral forum).. Also just to make sure ,do you consider this Hdd issue fixed?
