Hi All
I have recently replaced a few bits in my PC.
The three new bits are:
AMD Ryzen 5 7600X
MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI
Corsair Vengeance RGB 64GB DDR5
Everything else in the build has remained the same and was working fine immediately before the re-build.
I am basically having an issue where the graphics card will not display anything beyond the bios screen (which I can see it will load through several times) most of the time. Occasionally it will load into windows but with an odd resolution which windows won’t let me change (greyed out). I try updating drivers and it says success but still shows them as an optional update (even though it says I have that version). I have removed and re installed but same seems to happen.
I have also updated the bios to the most recent version. If I use onboard graphics I don’t have issues so while it is sticking when I try loading windows, it appears to be relating to the graphics card in some way (ie not windows). Given the motherboard has just changed I don’t know if there is a setting in the bios which might anlso interfere in some way?
Any help would be much appreciated.
The Bits I already have which were working in the previous build are:
KL-C1000 PSU
Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360L ARGB V2 62 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
2x standard SSD's, 1x m2, 1x HDD
MSI GAMING Z TRIO GeForce RTX 3070 LHR 8 GB Video Card
Phanteks Eclipse P600S ATX Mid Tower Case
Windows 11 Home
