My grandpas old pc stopped working after it fell to the floor about a foot.

This is what displays when trying to boot the pc. Troubleshooting told me, it may be a loose connection. Upon opening the PC, I tested all the connections I could see. No loose connections could be found, just a lot of dust (which I will clean out).

When I tried to reboot the computer, things were different, not at all better, that's when I took those pictures. I figure I may have messed with the culprit and made it angrier. Upon further investigation (disconnecting, inspecting, reconnecting, and wiggling), I could still not find the culprit, but thankfully it didn't get worse this time.

That leads me to now. I know very little about computers, I have a hard time identifying all the parts of a pc, let alone diagnosing a broken one. If anyone can help, and guide, me repair this computer, my grandfather and I would greatly appreciate it. My grandfather cannot afford another pc, so fixing this one is our first and only option.

Here is a good video that @Malnutrition has supplied that will help on how to reseat parts of the system.

Also make sure that while you are in the system that it is disconnected for a power source and discharged the system by pressing the power button for 30 seconds. Let us know how things go.

What sounds if any do you hear form the system?

Thanks @Rustys for sharing that video. I will watch it later, when I find some time.

I did unplug the system from the power source but did not know you could discharge the system by holding in the power button. Thanks for that.

I never noticed any abnormal noises when I was trying to boot the system. That's not exactly to say there weren't any, I just never noticed any.
