I have had to reinstqall windows, and hence Office 2021. I have Outlook open and my old .pst file restored. I have input the settings my ISP have given me- they won't help any more with 3rd party software as tjhey call it - howver I can send emails but not receive them I get no error messages. I have created a new profile.

Any suggestions?

Hello

Download and post.

https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy/download

To post.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

Going to you email web site can you still access you email and are they still there?

I have Outlook open and my old .pst file restored.
Depending on how this was carried out could be the cause of the issue.

I have had to reinstall windows.
Why did you have to reinstall Windows and you did install the driver in the proper order?

I have created a new profile.

Might want to remove the profile and recreate it for scratch. Even the smallest insignificant thing can cause it to not work properly.

Is the account POP3 or SMTP?

Does the send and receive come up at all with the progress bar. In the box just below that there should be if it shows it the reason why.
