I recently got a new desktop,
iBUYPOWER Gaming PC Computer Desktop Element 9260 (Intel Core i7-9700F 3.0Ghz, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6GB, 16GB DDR4, 240GB SSD, 1TB HDD, WiFi & Windows 10 Home)
It started out running fine. Internet connection was VERY slow. So I went out and got a USB network adapter. First was the Netgear A6210 and every once in a while it would just disconnect from the internet and is a known issue without a way to fix. I play games so it tends to be frustrating. I ended up getting a different one, a Techkey (USB WiFi Adapter for PC, Techkey 1750Mbps Dual Band 2.4GHz/450Mbps 5.8GHz/1300Mbps High Gain 5dBi Antennas USB 3.0 Wireless Network Adapter for Desktop Laptop with Windows). While this one does not disconnect, I do get lag spikes every once in a while about 4-6 seconds long. My laptop i had before never got them, and I play games with my wife on a team, and when I am getting the lag spikes, she is fine (wifi, same router and everything).
My computer inside is not hot so it is not overheating at all. I disabled the stock wifi card that came with the machine and have updated all the drivers for the PC.
The bluetooth in the pc seems to disconnect every once in a while as well..
