i could really use some advice for the custom gaming pc i bought from someone. i have a 1tb hard drive and no ssd i'm looking to install a 500gb ssd. i was told to wipe the hard drive and reinstall windows 10 on the ssd and make it my boot drive to make my pc as fast as possible. i just want to know if thats correct and i also have a few questions. please reach back if you can help thanks.

A clean install of Windows 10 and the system drivers would be better, not sure why you have been advised that you need to wipe the HDD first as the advise is 100% incorrect.

OPs initial question has been answered and been a week with no additional questions from them so thread marked as solved.
