I bought a ryzen 9 mini pc the hx90g. I recently downloaded a game I played with my grandson it ran better than on my desktop over 70fps really happy, but after downloading microsoft flight sim the fps dropped to 4fps on both the flight sim and the other game that ran at over 70fps. Haven't a clue. Can anyone help.
Thanks 🤔

Is Microsoft visual c++, direct x and amd radeon graphics installed properly on the machine ? As well as all windows updates

Turn the computer off and let it cool down for a couple hours, point a fan at it as well if you can.

Once it has cooled down, start it up and try playing again, does it get the 70+ FPS range that you were expecting?

Does it gradually drop over time?
