Games keep randomly closing on me frequently

Most games I play will just up and close on me randomly. It could be 10 minutes in or two hours in. I've tried switching storage units, reinstalling my drivers, and reinstalling windows.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070
Intel i9-9900K
16GB RAM
 
any chance it's temperature related?
check the CPU and GPU temps.
check the internal dust buildup on the fans, air vents and heatsinks.
