Hi!

Since here came Windows 8, came 8GadgetPack.
I have now Windows 10.1511 Pro x64 and installed 8GadgetPack 20.0.
When I was downloading gadgetpack, there was note that some gadgets will not work with Windows 10.1607.
I updated not, but have problem with SlideShow gadget.
Images slideshow is ok, shuffle, transition, correct folder, next & previous are ok.
But when I click at button View it displays not full picture.
It looks that any action is performed 'cause on taskbar blinks button but it's less than second to identify.
I browsed scripts written for gadget and its settings, no any program association to view picture.
So, it looks like uses default image viewer of Windows...
I set as default viewer JPEGImage and I'm satisfied.
It looks like cosmetic fix, but my slideshow is not photo folder, there are many times important graphic files and I can't access them by gadget, I must to find them manually. So, it looks bit useless.
If is this not possible to fix, I change folder to nice photos from holiday...

Hello

There are still some software that doesn't work so well in Win 10. I am assuming that Gadgetpack said is was compatible with Win 10!
 
I know that anything can be incompatible, but on homepage is written support Windows 8/8.1/10 - and I used newest version...
Ok, I must to try it on virtual machine, then let you know.

OK, now I have result: Windows 10.1511 Pro x64
Slideshow gadget displays picture after click on View button. Uses Windows 10 Pictures program - default Windows 10...
So, here's simple Q: how to fix it to use other than default program?

Are you looking to get the gadget to choose a different default program, or are you looking for W10 to use a different default program?
 
I'm not sure if I understand correctly.
Slideshow gadget uses Windows 10 default program to view pictures - Windows Photos
I'm using for view pictures JPEGView
I want to fix gadget that it displays picture at click "View"
It is not important in which program, only display.

I downloaded Advanced Slideshow gadget where I personalized size and want to replace delete button to display button for display in user defined program.
