the bios contains nothing i can go trought there and take some photos and its a verry old style biosjump on the Acer website and check the support page for your laptop and see if there are downloads relating to Acer software that would control the Fn keys.
also get in BIOS that Fn keys haven't been disabled.
Do you have the original drive.I got a ssd and i installed in my laptop
I installed windows powertools and i just sett a keybind to volume up but it woud be nice if i had fn keys if i doo a windows repair install it will erase everything? What keys are you tiring to use with the Fn key?
Few things to attempt in no particular order.
Could also reset the BIOS to a factory state and see if that corrects it.
Next look at running a DISM and then SFC.
Maybe even a Repair Install of Windows.
Another thing that you could try is redownloading the keyboard drivers and reinstall.
Remove the reference form Device manager and reboot and see if that clears it up.
what is not Fn key not doing that it should be?
Why can you not do anything with it?The bios has nothing to do because its a verry old fasioned one and i can't do anything with it
