I got a ssd and i installed in my laptop after i installed windows 10 fn key just stoped working .

You have post on a tech forum asking for help but have provided zero information about your computer or it`s hardware, this makes it impossible for anyone to even hazard a guess as to what is going on.

Is the computer a custom build or brand name such as Dell or HP, if a brand name, provide the model name or series number (not serial) if a custom build post the brand and model name or number for the CPU, MB, the RAM (including the amount) add on video card if one is used and the PSU (power supply unit) providing these details will enable folk to better help you.

Like pressing fn and the button up it will increase the volume but not dosent work and its a laptop keyboard and i cleaned it and nothing its a software thing

So other can assist let get a speccy report.

Do not forget to post the make and model of the PSU if this is a desktop.

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

jump on the Acer website and check the support page for your laptop and see if there are downloads relating to Acer software that would control the Fn keys.

also get in BIOS that Fn keys haven't been disabled.

the bios contains nothing i can go trought there and take some photos and its a verry old style bios

human interface devices missing windows 10 services is missing in services

What keys are you tiring to use with the Fn key?

Few things to attempt in no particular order.

Could also reset the BIOS to a factory state and see if that corrects it.

Next look at running a DISM and then SFC.

Maybe even a Repair Install of Windows.

Another thing that you could try is redownloading the keyboard drivers and reinstall.

Remove the reference form Device manager and reboot and see if that clears it up.

you can tell the repair install to keep user files and settings, or to keep nothing.
software you installed will need to be reinstalled.
