Let's do some diagnostics.
Let's test your RAM to ensure your RAM is OK
Let's do some diagnostics.
- Click on the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
- When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
- When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following command into it, press Enter.
Code:sfc /scannow - Wait for this to finish before you continue
- Copy and paste the following command, press Enter.
Code:findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log > %userprofile%\Desktop\sfc.txt
- Open Reply window. Click 'More Reply Options'.
- Go to the end of your text (if any).
- Click 'Choose Files..'
- For 'File name' paste this: %userprofile%\Desktop\sfc.txt
- Click the 'Add to Post' link which will appear on the right when the file has been uploaded.
- Click 'Add Reply'.
Let's test your RAM to ensure your RAM is OK
- Click Start, type mdsched.exe in the Search box, and then press Enter.
- Choose whether to restart the computer and run the tool immediately or schedule the tool to run at the next restart.
- Windows Memory Diagnostics runs automatically after the computer restarts and performs a standard memory test automatically. If you want to perform fewer or more tests, press F1, use the Up and Down arrow keys to set the Test Mix as Basic, Standard, or Extended, and then press F10 to apply the desired settings and resume testing.
- When testing is completed, the computer restarts automatically. You’ll see the test results when you log on.
Hi, I checked with mdsched. I got no problems detected when the process ran, but there was no log after the windows opened. and there are few errors recorded under system in windows in event viewer. source is distributed COM saying: The server {784E29F4-5EBE-4279-9948-1E8FE941646D} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.

another thing is mdsched gave error at first (during the process) but I had to go out, and when I came back and ran it again, it showed no problems.

it is 1803. I checked the updates but there doesn't seem to be any new feature update. the updates have been put to automatic so they install when they are available. another thing is there has been no bsod since then.

but is there a way I can really determine if there is any problem with the RAM. cause the first memsched said problems, the second one said no problems (though no logs were recorded??)
Hi, I will let it run overnight tonight and let you know. I ran it earlier, it ran for 23 tests(took 1 and half an hour) which showed no errors and I had to exit because have some works to do for few hours now. Thank you
is there a way to use the flash drive again? the flash drive now only shows 49 mb. I formatted it but still shows 49 mb only.
