Hi!

We all know GPUs on each videocard. What is GPU: CPU dedicated to computer and processing graphics.

Why don't use any additional CPU? If is for GPU enough PCIe bus, exist any add-on card with CPU?
What a CPU?
CPU to which can be switched from on-board CPU and back - everybody knows that it's not easy access (share) data bus and some similar problems.
So, switching to external CPU stops main CPU and switching to main CPU stops external CPU...
I'm looking for PPC CPU... or maybe others, or maybe lower-effective...

Exists something like this?
Thank you for each idea.

You are looking for something like this?

PICOe-B650

CPU daughter boards have been around for a long time but they are expensive. Even for the ARM processors

Ok, I'm searching for
i386-i486 with 5,25" & 3,5" floppy support, IDE master/slave or PCMCIA, LPT & COM daughterboard
or
MC680x0 (020 & higher) with 5,25" & 3,5" floppy support, IDE master/slave or PCMCIA, LPT & COM daughterboard
for PCIe...
Can you help me with search?
Meaning what a keywords and parameters to use...
Thank you.
Miro

Most of those old daughter board ran on the old ISA bus slots. They were used in industrial applications. Where you would find something like that for a modern motherboard is anyone's guess. Forgive me but I can't help you there. :)

I was searching for any info, I found interesant things, but:
- CPUs used were for ISA - i80486, MC68040, Zilog Z80
- I was searching for PPC CPU - yes they're, but really not interesant.

I have Q in other way:
Exist any PCIe (or PCI) to ISA port adapter?
I have poort English, but try to explain:
1. ISA slot adapter connect to PCIe or PCI
2. then connect to ISA port peripherals on modern computer...
Exist any adapter?
If yes, it allows me to use found add-on CPU cards in my computer...
