Hi everyone this is my first post and I’m not very technologically literate so bare with me, I recently upgraded from 16gb ram (no clue what the mhz was) but it was set at 2133 in task manager I was unaware you could change it, after installing the new ram I launched into windows regularly and it worked fine, task manager showed 2133 mhz and cpu-z showed a range of 1000-1100 which I think is odd, I then went into bios and enabled xmp and set the dram frequency to 3200mhz, then my computer would do nothing for about a min, then my monitor turns off and I boot up but don’t make it to windows and I’m forced to press f1 and go into bios, disabling xmp lets me boot into windows fine and then of course enabling it again sticks me with the same issue, so far I’ve reset my CMOS and I’ve held down the power button for 30 seconds and let it sit for a few minutes, no help.

If anyone knows a solution I would really appreciate it, here are my mother board and ram

I found the issue, wasn’t aware cpu could be incompatible with ram just thought it was the motherboard but that makes a lot of sense now 🤦‍♂️, fixed it by setting my ram speed to 2666mhz the most my cpu supports so at least I got a slight improvement.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot dialog box. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

The last part of each URL is randomized, so only people you provide with the URL will be able to find your profile.

The information given in Speccy cannot be used by anyone to hack your system

Could you also include the power supply specs E.g Cooler Master 850W Gold V2 NOT E.g 850w

Just a fyi, the MBs homepage does actually say Intel LGA-1151 mATX motherboard, DDR4 2666MHz, and the memory QVL says - DDR4 2666MHz and higher memory modules will run at max. 2666MHz on Intel® 8th Generation 6-core or higher processors.
