Hey all.

I have a functioning DisplayPort MST setup. You can find all the hardware I'm using here:
Monitors
DP Cables
DP Hub
PC

I know this setup functions. The DP monitors work as intended both in the BIOS, and on USB-loaded Ubuntu.

I have updated all drivers that I can think to update, and have reinstalled them many times. I factory reset my GPU & its software, upgrading to experimental versions and downloading what is probably just more AMD bloat that won't really help me.

I did a completely fresh reinstall of Windows already. This actually fixed a separate issue I was having thankfully, but still no progress here.

I have tried using only the DP monitors, set at their lowest resolutions and refresh rates. Nothing I have tried has gotten me anywhere close to figuring out the issue.

The monitors appear to work while windows is booting (shows the BIOS logo, the Windows logo, etc), but one of them becomes disconnected as soon as the Log in screen is loaded.

At this point, one of the monitors appears to be permanently disconnected by Windows.image.png.d0fd86b98851679d32a7fafcb9afe145.png

Any attempt to change my display settings results in the error, "The display settings could not be saved. Please try a different combination of display settings."

I hope someone has an idea of what the problem could be here.

Thanks,
reze
