Hello, beautiful people.
I have an Alienware 34 Curved Monitor (AW3418DW) that functions wonderfully. The way it is positioned on my main desk makes it so you can't really get behind it at all, so I never really noticed any issues with normal adjustments/cleanings until I decided to give my entire office a deep cleaning.
I noticed a funny feeling whenever I put my hand behind the screen, like a wave of electricity or static. If I put my hand behind the monitor for too long, it starts to tingle and feel even stranger, like it hurts but it doesn't really hurt? I'm a bit afraid of being electrocuted so I stopped touching it altogether.
The screen itself doesn't give off a weird wave, neither do the non-screen parts in the front. I need to move it out of the office temporarily for cleaning but I'm not exactly wanting to die (haha) so what should I do? Is there a way to safely "disperse" the charge?
