For a couple months now, I have had an issue where when I restart, windows will freeze at the login screen but another restart would get it working fine. I recently updated windows and when it restarted it would freeze at the login screen. Restart after restart did nothing. I tried to troubleshoot in the windows option that shows up when windows doesn't start correctly but it says I do not have an admin account set up. So I booted in safe mode and tried to restore and the restore froze in the middle of "Do not turn of machine", I waited for hours and it did not work so I had to manually turn off the machine. Now I am getting Critical Process Error even when I try to boot in safe mode. When I try to install windows from a USB drive, it gets to the active windows screen, and I am unable to click I don't have a product key to get it doing. Its like its frozen but the mouse will move.
 
It could be that your storage device has been warning you that it was failing or running out of free storage space causing Windows to become corrupt

When asking for help on a tech forum you need to provide as much information about your computer as you can, you know the details but we have zero to work with atm.
 
I wish I could tell you exactly how much space I had but my main SSD is a 500GB and it was mostly Windows and maybe a game or two. I would guess about 200GB open. I wanted to try to install Windows on my other SSD but it gets stuck when I boot from a USB.

Asorus Gaming 7 Mobo
960 Pro Samsung 500GB
950 Evo Samsung 250GB
16 GB Trident 3000 or 3200 mHz
GTX 1080 TI
Kraken AIO

Any other information needed? Unfortunately it will be mostly guesses since I can't get into my computer to look at specs/space. I don't have another computer to pull out parts and test them either.
 
Sorry but you have missed the most important item of hardware, can we have the brand and model name or number of the PSU.

For you to do, this initially to see if we can help you avoid the need to clean install Windows.

(1) Restore the MBs default factory settings in the BIOS, they are sometimes listed as one of the following " factory defaults" "most stable" or on newer boards "optimized" please note that if you have both the "most stable" and the "optimized" options in the BIOS you should choose the most stable" option as in this instance the "optimized" settings are a form of overclocking that can cause instability.

(2) See if you are able to force the computer to start in the Windows Recovery Environment (RE) by starting up and shutting down the computer two or three times using the case power button, please note that you need to shut down the computer after the MBs splash screen and just before Windows attempts to load, if successful you should then continue to the Troubleshooting options and then hopefully be able to use Reset this PC, a system restore point or Safe Mode etc.

(3) If no success with the above, we need to make sure that your Windows 10 ISO is good, Test Bootable ISO File Without Burning Using QEMU Simple Boot
 
Sorry it is a EVGA 650 GQ (80 Gold Plus).

I got a better bootable USB and was able to do a clean install on the EVO SSD. I will try to restore factory setting in BIOS to see if I can get the RE to work and get my original Windows working again. Otherwise I will have to use the clean install. Thanks for the help.
 
Good quality PSU if less than five years old but the output is borderline for the hardware that you have, if you ever plan on adding any more storage devices you will need to upgrade the PSU, the PSU is not imo the cause of the issue/s that you have been having.

Which power supply do you need?

I don't have a product key to get it doing.

Being that you have already had Windows 10 running on the PC as long as that OS was activated on the Microsoft servers you will not need to enter a Windows product key again unless you ever change the motherboard.
