Hi, I am having issues with my windows 10 and have had multiple blue screens with different error codes. After using the sfc/scannow command the scan found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. The corrupt files was succesfully removed with the chkdsk /f /r /x scan, and no corrupt files was found with the sfc scan. After the next restart of my computer the sfc scan again found corrupt files again. I have also tried the /DISM command. I recently posted here and thought my issue was fixed, but I guess not. All insight is much appreciated.

I recently did a hardware change of my motherboard, ram and cpu, aswell as installing a new M.2 SSD. The issues started a short period after installing COD, Modern Warfare.
 
is the new SSD where the OS lives?
another other drives in the rig?

certainly sounds like a corrupted drive though.
if you uninstall COD and MW, does the issue go away?

can you send the specs of those new parts.
 
The new SSD does not contain the OS. The new SSD did contain COD MW, but I have already deleted it abaout a week ago, bacause it kept crashing, giving me errormessages and bluescreens.
I have added a picture of my disks. C: is where the OS lives, and D: is the new SSD.
My new parts are
CPU - AMD Ryzen 3700X
RAM - HyperX Fury DDR4 2666Mhz 16gb
MTB - ASUS ROG Strix B450-F

If the computer is a desktop can you post the brand and model name or number of the power supply (PSU).

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

Windows is out of date and as was explained at your previous thread until it is fully up to date you are wasting your time troubleshooting this as any one of the Windows hotfixes could be what is required to put things right, there is also the matter of the OS activation, until we can see an up to date Windows we have no way of knowing if the OS is legit so as per forum rules we would not be able to help until the OS is shown to be up to date and therefore clearly 100% legit.

We need to be seeing the January 28, 2020—KB4532695 update is installed to be sure that you are fully up to date.

Couple of pointers in your Speccy report.

Since you clean installed Windows have you also manually installed the drivers for the MB and starting with the chipset drivers first.

INTEL SSDSA2M080G2GC (SSD) This device is too small for Windows 10, you need at least an 180GB SSD but preferably a 256GB.

I am sorry @phillpower2 but where does it say that my windows is out of date? How can i show that I am up to date? I have tried to change the autoupdate settings to on, but I cant find the specific setting.
Actually I had not installed the drivers for the MB manually, but I have done that now.
My D: disk is a 250gb SSD and I could transfer my OS to it. Do you think that would be a wise choice?
 
You need to manually check for updates in Update & Security, once Windows is fully up to date, run Speccy again and post the new url for us, you will know when you are fully up to date once you have installed the January 28, 2020—KB4532695 update, an alternative would be my answer to your above question regarding the D: drive.

If me I would clean install Windows 10 and the MB drivers to the 250GB SSD, you can download your own Windows 10 media by following the second option here you should not be asked to enter any Windows product key when you clean install Windows as the details will already be on the Microsoft database for the present Windows installation, this along with your MB details.
 
I have been checking the update and security every time I log on after I started to have issues, and I do have the January 28. update installed.

If you are still having the same issue/s can you do the following;

Post the requested brand and model name or number of the PSU for us.

Upload the latest crash dmp, please only include dmps from the past couple of days as anything older is of no use and only use the method below to upload them;

1. Copy any dmp files from C:\Windows\Minidump onto the desktop.
2. Select all of them, right-click on one, and click on Send To> New Compressed (zipped) Folder.
3. Upload the zip folder using the Attach button, bottom left of the dialogue input box
 
My PSU is Corsair CMPSU-1000HX. I think that the powersupply should be sufficient. I did attach the dmp files as you asked. I see that I have three from yesterday.

Yes a top of the range PSU and after looking at the dmp files we can see that it is not the cause of the problems here.

Looked at all of the dmps and the only constant is the RAM, memory management or memory corruption are identified in each of the five dmps, processes that are mentioned include Acrobat reader, battlenet, internal power error, nvcontainer.exe and Windows explorer, the chance of all of these being at fault is minimal so went back and looked for possible RAM issues, what I found below;

Your CPU, AMD Ryzen 7 3700X requires DDR4 3200MHz RAM, this can be confirmed here

Your RAM, HyperX Fury DDR4 2666Mhz 16gb even with XMP is only rated at 2666MHz which can be confirmed here

Ryzen CPUs have documented history when it comes to being picky about the RAM that they will work with and likewise they prefer faster memory, your RAM being too slow for the 3700X looks to be the likely cause of your issues, an additional downside to this is that knowing that the present RAM doesn't meet the CPUs minimum requirements makes any kind of troubleshooting a fruitless exercise I`m afraid :(
 
I have been talking to the seller of the hardware that I bought. They are saying that the System Memory specification is a maximum, and that my motherboard is supporting 2666mhz without overclocking, but if i overclock then the motherboard and cpu may use ram with 3200mhz. At least that is how I understood it. Except that I changed a setting in my bios about AI ram overclocking from manual(standard) to auto. This might not have done anything. I had multiple BSODs earlier. after the blue screens I managed to clear the corrupt files in my windows again, and they have not yet returned. Right now everything is working fine, but I fear that I have not found the solution.
 
Sorry but what you have been told is not entirely accurate, your MB does support 2666MHz RAM without any OCing but that is only any good if the CPU in the board only supports 2666MHz RAM, there is nothing for anyone here to gain by making stuff up and what I advised is supported by both AMD for the CPU and Kingston for the RAM, another link here that also says you need 3200MHz RAM.

Your crash dmps + the documented specs strongly suggest a RAM issue, I've been wrong before and will hold my hands up here if I am proven wrong.
 
I see. I can contact the seller again tomorrow, but I still feel like the the parts I have bought should be compatible. The store I bought the parts from is a very big company, and they usually know what they are doing. They sold the parts as a package that should be compatible, and others have not been having the same issues as me.
 
Its not that the parts are incompatible it is the fact that the RAM is too slow, I`m sure that you will have heard of the term "bottleneck" as previously mentioned an additional downside to this is that knowing that the present RAM doesn't meet the CPUs minimum requirements makes any kind of troubleshooting impossible, the crux of it is that if you purchased the parts as a bundle it should have included RAM rated at 3200MHz or above.

Thank you, I will contact them and see if it is possible to trade the ram for some that are 3200 MHz. I will let you know what happens :)
