Controlling an antivirus with powershell

Hi there. Is there a free antivirus that I can run scans with through powershell? I was playing around with Malwarebytes but you can only run mbam.exe with parameters if you pay for it.

I have good computer knowledge but I don't know anything about powershell. Just something I have never used

I want to use this remotely on the computers I manage. I know Windows Defender can be used with powershell and apparently Emsisoft Emergency Kit as well.

I'm looking for a few more options please
 
Any free antivirus isn't going to offer more protection than Defender, in the end it's the user who will be the first line of defense against malware/adware.

You could have your users install an antivirus helper like one these below, for free.

Thanks for the suggestion. I see Xvirus does have CLI support. I have Ublock already installed on the computers. The people I give IT support to don't have a lot of computer knowledge, I am providing them with a service to keep thier computers running as best as possible so they don't have to worry about it

As per the PCHF Terms and rules that you agreed to abide by when becoming a member;

15. PCHF can not and will not offer advice for business use or financial gain. PCHF only offers assistance for personal use.

This thread is in breach of the above rule even if there is no financial gain involved, personal use means on a members personal computer and not that of any third party who could suffer any loss should something go wrong.
