Hey everyone,
This problem is concerning my Dell Inspiron 15-5555. I have it setup in control panel so that when I close the lid, it will instantly and automatically go to sleep. Well, it doesn't. It just turns off the display and when I open the laptop back up, I just see my screen saver. It also appears as if it isn't sleeping after the certain amount of time of inactivity has passed. Thanks in advance, and here are what my settings look like:

Hi Nick, MS has never done a good job executing sleep and hibernate. I don't like either. I'd suggest you turn the machine off when your done with it.

Really? This is the only machine I've ever had a problem with this on. Usually I do put it to sleep or shut it off by myself but sometimes I just involuntarily close the lid...
