Solved Computer monitor loses signal and sound is a repeating beeping

This has recently started happening in a computer that has been working fine for 10 months prior to this. I have swapped out the hdmi cable, swapped out the graphics card, and cleaned out all the components in my system. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I tried both sticks one at a time in both ram slots, on the left spot the computer wouldn't boot at all. On the right side, I was able to boot and play a full game of rocket league with both sticks. I think it may be the motherboard although I am not completely sure.

That would normally suggest that the memory slot that you refer to as being on the left has issues.

Suggestion, with the computer shut down, disconnect the power cord from the wall, press the case power on button for 20 seconds to get rid of any residual charge in the circuit then remove the CMOS battery from the MB and leave it out for 5 to 10 minutes (see attachment below) reassemble and then try a single stick only in memory slot 1 which is the one nearest to the CPU, post back with an update once done please.

After doing that I booted up the computer and it worked. I was able to play a full game of rocket league but I am now going to test the other ram stick and see how that works out.

After playing another game for about thirty minutes, I heard a buzzing sound and my computer restarted and then just kept on restarting and showed the windows loading sign but didn't boot into windows ever.

After leaving the computer off last night and then turning it on today, I played nearly a full game of rocket league but then it said no signal. I could monitor the temps while running a benchmark or some other software

Please take expanded screenshots and only use the method below to attach them.

Download Speedfan from here and install it. Once it's installed, run the program and post here the information it shows. The information I want you to post is the stuff that is circled in the example picture I have attached.


If you are running on a vista machine, please go to where you installed the program and run the program as administrator.

Click on the ALT key + PRT SCR key..its on the top row..right hand side..now click on start...all programs...accessories...paint....left click in the white area ...press CTRL + V...click on file...click on save...save it to your desktop...name it something related to the screen your capturing... BE SURE TO SAVE IT AS A .JPG ...otherwise it may be to big to upload... Click on the Upload a File tab then after typing in any response you have... click on Post Reply like you normally would.

Yes, I monitored temps and after doing some more research I thought it could be the power supply. I bought a new one the other day and I haven't had any problems since. I guess I will rma my old one now. Thank you everyone for your help.
