Hello. does anyone know what to do here. I recently rebooted ( as in pressed F9 as soon as I started my laptop to do a whole RESEt of my laptopas I could not reset my Windows password.) ..not first time I've done this but first time within the reboot menu there was an option to create an admin password for my whole laptop. this is NOT the same as the Windows password.. so then after that when I would turn on my laptop I now get a black screen with one box saying ENTER PASSWORD. then once I hit ENTER I then get the normal Windows screen with my user name asking for my Windows password.. all was fine. didn't use my laptop for a while but now when I turn it on I still get the backstreet asking for my password but either I have forgotten it or its not accepting.. I get 3 attempts and then I have to turn off my computer and start again. there is no option "FORGOT PASSWORD" and none of the F keys work to try and reboot so Basically I am really stuck trying to do any sort of reboot or bypass this black screen..
would really like some help please. I know any technician is going to charge me a lot when I vet it must be so easy to REBOOT/ RESET again I just don't know how :( .

ill ve clear again there is no problems with the WINDOWS PASSWORD. as you can see in the photos the screen is black. but I need go get pass this page to get to the WINDOWS SCREEn. what I really want to do is go back and RESET my whole laptop again (I have no data to loose so its no problem) ans get rid of this password screen all together

Unfortunately it seems like you're out of luck if you can't remember it. I'd check any notes you've made on computer/website passwords in the past and hope you can remember it.

Otherwise (as per forum rules) there's nothing more that we can do for you - good luck!
13. We will not assist with recovery of or figuring out of system passwords, PINs, or 2FA codes for any reason.

Thank you but I'm not asking how to recover my password but how do I get back into the screen to Reboot/reset my whole laptop. before when ir eas just the windows password screen I could hit F9 or F5 (one of those I can't rember to be exact) and it would take me to the back-end menu to reset my laptop
. the problem now is that it won't accept any F (function) buttons
so I was wondering if there is another button or set of buttons (eg. CTR ALR DEL - obviously not that but as an example) that will work to reset my laptop.

again help to remember my password not requires as I'm sure I've been entering the righg one but it won't accept it.

Your pictures look like the BIOS password screen which precedes Windows attempting to load, is it the BIOS log in screen to which you refer.

If it is a BIOS/Admin password then resetting or clean installing Windows wouldn’t remove this. Only the PC manufacturer can help if the password has been forgotten.
