Today I'm planning to get a non RGB ram stick as I bought a pre built PC with a single RGB ram in it. Would it experience any problems if so I mixed them together? And yes I would buy the same frequency and brand as the one connected on my PC.

Thanks.

Let's get some more information:

Download and run speccy.

Once you have ran speccy, follow the instructions to upload a snapshot found here.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

  1. In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.
  2. In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.
  3. Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot dialog box. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

Please list your power supply unit model.

Can you mix rams? Yes, but it's generally not advised.

Furthermore, having two sticks in dual channel will double you speeds, but once you start using that additional single stick it will be much slower since it's only running in single channel.

Never heard of that brand before, if you plan on using this system for anything more intense than spreadsheets I would consider a new PSU in your future.

As for ram, you'd be best off just grabbing a new kit of 2933 MHz ram, something like a 8x2 configuration (16gb total across two sticks). Something like Corsair's (CMK16GX4M2Z2933C16) would be good for you.

Thank you for that suggestion, will look into it. In the meantime, is it okay that I overclocked my single ram to 3200mhz? As that is the speed stated on the box. Or should I put it back to its default speed? Does it makes a difference as well? Thanks.

No, that speed is too fast for your processor which only works up to 2933 MHz, I would not go above this.
