Hi Guys, I understand this does not come under computers, but to be honest, I just do not know where to get a little advice on the subject. I will explain and if Admin decides they cannot answer it or for whatever reason, that is fine. I completly understand. I am trying to find out if I can connect my new wireless headset , some way, to my tv . The tv has an Audio out and of course my headset dongle has a usb connection. I do have a short cable with an audio jack on one end and a usb on the other end. I could not connect the usb wireless to that as both are male connecters. I then thought about buying a usb cable with female connections both ends. I would then be bale to plug the wireless usb into the other end of it.

So before I go off to by another cable, I was wondering if and of the Members might advise me otherwise. That is all I am asking. Wharever you decide, I am gratefull, ok.

All the very best for now.

Jimmy.

Whats the model number, this will help me look it up and see if it is a smart TV, what OS it uses, does it support wireless devices, etc. :)

Mal's idea would be best.
That TV doesn't have bluetooth which would work if your headset also had bluetooth.
And going from 3.5mm jack to USB has no guarantee of working.

Hi Bruce, sorry about the delay. Was not too well, and had to see the Doctor. That is another story you do not need to hear. I agree that Mal,s idea seems the best solution. Thank you all for the help and advice I received. It was appreciated. Please regard this problem as solved. All the very best for now.
