My mom was having trouble with her PayPal account she googled the PayPal customer service number and got what I'm assuming was a scam number. The scammer told her to install anydesk on her phone then allow remote access, she did. At this point she gave the phone to me, the scammer said there were unauthorized transactions on her PayPal account and that's why it was locked (even though I was looking right at the account while he was trolling around and there weren't any unauthorized transactions) he then asked if she did online banking, I said yes, he asked me to log in to her online bank account, I said no (at this point I was getting suspicious), he then Googled Xbox Gift Cards on the phone screen right while I'm watching him do it, at that point I immediately hung up the phone and turned off her phone. I went on my PC and changed her PayPal password (he had changed it to a different password but I saw what he typed in). I then turned the phone back on and uninstalled AnyDesk. With AnyDesk uninstalled does the scammer still have access to her phone since it also had me install a AnyDesk plugin. I need help with this immediately. I also called PayPals real customer service and tried to talk to them but, and this is why i'm worried, every single time I started telling the legit paypal customer service rep about the scammer the call would disconnect this happened atleast 5 times and I finally gave up. So is there some way he still has access to her phone even though i uninstalled AnyDesk? I didn't withdraw any permissions or anything since I was starting to panic, i just quickly uninstalled the app.
