Hey guys, so I've become super paranoid about viruses and malware, so I got avast free and malwarebytes free, is this enough to detect and protect my computer or should I go with something different? Cheers!

MBAM free does not have the active protection only the pro version does. Avast is good tho. For added layers for a manual scan you could use AdAware and Adware,the free versions require manual scans. You could also use VooDoo shield which the free version has an acrive scan. Plus any ad blockers and tracker blockers like ghoshtly,uBlock,ABP. Also you could use HTTPS everywhere which makes sure your browser connects to sites that have the most HTTP security with there site link.

So you know i use all of those ad blockers at the same time,plus the one built in the Opera browser. Plus i use Super Anti Spyware to manually scan to get rid of those cookie trackers.
No ..to clarify..just the ad blockers and voodoo shield. Now if you decided to buy some of the malware protection any of those are not suppose to slow down a pc either and work together .. Just to note you can have only one active av running,unless you can find a free cloud av,some of those can run with another av installed on your pc.

You can install all the adware and malware software if you want. As i said the adblockers as well. I have most of these downloaded on my Win 10 pc.
A note here. I use rKill for the first thing i do when i do manual scanning. This setup's your pc to scan your pc without any malware trying to block any of the software you are trying to use to scan with.
