Hello! I've been having this issue for a long time, and am finally starting to lose it over it.

I've had two seperate models of AirPods and continue to have issues with them connecting to Windows 10 or Windows 11. The issue isn't the connecting factor, it is more to do with the staying connecting and working correctly side of it. Instead of just staying connected, the device will rapidly connect and disconnect from Windows, and typically causes that settings screen to lag.

I've tried numerous fixes that I mention below, but am now reaching out for help. Not sure if this is the right section of the forum for this, feel free to move this thread as necessary.

Here is a video showcasing the bluetooth settings doing so:

Here is the steps I've already attempted:

  1. Restart Laptop
  2. Check for Windows Updates
  3. Re-connect the device,
  4. Checked firmware for AirPods
  5. Reinstalled Bluetooth drivers
  6. Uninstalled, restarted, and reinstalled all Bluetooth drivers
  7. Enabled 'Automatic' to Bluetooth Audio Gateway / Bluetooth Support Service (Services)
  8. Reinstalled AirPods drivers manually
