ve been trying to remove the hinge of this type of key but I couldn't find any safe way to remove it. I'm trying to switch it with one of my other key hinges that I don't use because its squeaky.

I tested it with one of the keys I don't use and you may see that I have already failed to remove it because I broke the top piece held by the clip.

I could not find any close computer store that would conveniently remove the hinge for me, nor am I paying a professional to remove it for me.

I would appreciate it if anyone can tell me the EXACT place I should be applying pressure with a screwdriver and any procedures I need to safely remove the hinge.
I've already searched all over the internet for tutorials on how to remove the hinge, it only features how to remove the acer nitro 5 normal keys and others except for the one I'm struggling to remove.

sorry, no experience in removing that portion of the key assembly.
not sure you even can!

getting your hands on a couple of dead laptops or laptop keyboards from any computer shop would be a good practice. they should just give you a dead keyboard or at most only charge a few $$$.

Thanks for the help, I don't think it's removable either but it was worth a try. I definitely don't think it's worth the money to replace an entire keyboard for one loose keycap I rarely use though.

I confirmed with ACER that the hinge is not removable, thank you to everyone who wanted to help regardless!
