windows install on a new empty drive

alright, il try it once the new ssd arrives. im doing this because my laptop is stuck in a infinite power loop and shuts off right away. it started doing so after i left it to do an automatic windows update and shutdown. i came back the next morning and the power loop began. i tried a fresh windows install with a usb drive with windows but it would still only start for a split second before shutting off right away so the software couldint even run

That has zero to do with what you mentioned in your OP and had veeg been aware of such an issue I`m sure that his reply would have been different.

If your present issue/s are power related what makes you think that putting in a new SSD will solve it.
