I've been looking for a solution for about a month now, and nothing. I've tried using malware/virus removal, CClearner, uninstalling program, disabling services upon startup through msconfig, reinstalling my graphics drivers, etc. It tabs me out of fullscreen applications, removes the focus from current windows and such to where I haev to click on the window to do anything again.

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit on a custom built PC. I have an NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti, Intel i7-6700, 16 GB DDR4 RAM. My HDD still has over 1TB of free space. It's not my mouse, I've tried a brand new mouse that I had, and the problem still occurs the same amount. I really don't want to have to reformat my hard drive again.

I don't think the keyboard would be the issue, honestly. I can't remember when the system started acting up, but I can try that finding a time frame though.

Edit: It's not showing any of the system restore points I had prior to this.

Try booting into safe mode and see if the system acts up.

Clean the keyboard there may be a key that is acting up.

What were you doing with the system prior to this starting?
Any software changes, updates, hardware.

Have you made any changes to the Performance Settings?

Is there a different user on that system that you can try and see if the same thing happens?
If there is not an other user create one for testing.

EDIT: One more place to check for causes of weirdness is in the Accessibility section in Windows 7 it is called Ease of Access it has some things that are activated if a key is pressed a certain amount of times. Which should be in the Control Panel.

Lets get some info from your machine, to get things rolling.

Step 1: Reset Host File

  • Click here to download RstHosts v2.0
  • Save the file to your desktop.
  • Right Click and Run as Administrator.
  • Click on Restaurer, then click OK at the prompt.
  • This will restore the default host file.
  • Next Click on Creer Un Rapport.
  • This will open a logfile, post that in your next reply.

Step 2: MiniToolBox Scan

Please download MINITOOLBOX and run it.

Checkmark following boxes:

Flush DNS
Reset FF proxy Settings
Reset Ie Proxy Settings
Report IE Proxy Settings
Report FF Proxy Settings
List content of Hosts
List IP configuration
List Winsock Entries
List last 10 Event Viewer log
List Installed Programs
List Users, Partitions and Memory size
List Devices (problems only)

Click Go post the result.

Step 3: Autoruns Scan.

Download Autoruns and Autorunsc Unzip it to your desktop and then double click autoruns.exe
After the scan is finished then click on File>>>>>>>>>>>Save
The default name will be autoruns.arn make sure to save it as Autoruns.txt under the file type option.
in other words make sure it is a .txt file instead of .arn Attach the text in your next reply.

Step 4: HijackThis.

1- Please click HERE to download HijackThis.
2- Run the program.
3- Click on the Main Menu button if not already there.
4- Select Do a system scan and save a logfile.
5- Copy paste the log here.

I haven't made any changes or anything, and it seems that safemode isn't helping either. I'm the only one who has a computer in the house though.
I attached the folder that contains the 4 logs an txt files.
