I'm new to this forum because I just can't seem to find any solution to my problem on the internet and hope to get it sollen here.

So I just recently build my own gaming PC and it runs pretty fine but after setting everything up and shutting it down for the first time, it won't boot automatically. After turning it on it just runs in idle but everything seems to start up, CPU, Fans, GPU and everything.
The screen just stays Black and says no Signal at all and keyboard and mouse seem to get no Power as well. You need to turn it off again just to start it up again and then be quick to spam the F2 Button. Regularly it will boot up just as it should but sometimes you need to repeat the annoying procedure till it's booting up.
After it runs normally you can turn it off and restart just to have it boot by itself now. Do it again and it won't. But leave it shut for an hour or longer and it is guaranteed that it won't boot again. It' just so inconsistent which seems very odd to me.

I checked the BIOS and everything seems to be Set up just as it should, SSD boot priority and also flashed the latest Firmware for the mobo. Also swapped the connection of the SSD but nothing seems to work and I am just frustrated.

My specs are:
- Asus B450-F Mobo
- Radeon Vega 56x GPU
- NZXT Kraken X53 water cooler
- Gskill Trident Z Royal 16GB DDR4 RAM
- Samsung 970 Evo 1TB SSD
- 700 Watt be quiet! Pure Power 11 CM Modular 80+ Gold PSU
- Ryzen 5 3600x CPU
- 3800MHz
- 2 Corsair LL120 Fans

All parts were brand new except the GPU I got from my brother.

I hope someone might be able to sollen this problem and thanks for all the answers in advance!

First thing to try is reset the cmos. Test do not change any BIOS settings for now. (Pic attached) for ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING
Read the notes about the power at the bottom of the page.
When you power on the motherboard do any of the onboard led's stay on - pic attached
Reseat the video card.

What is your BIOS Version?
What speed is your ram
If you are running windows what version of windows 7,8,10,11 ?

I just updated the BIOS so it should be Version
4602.
My RAM is running on 3200MHz and my system is windows 10.
I don't got a PCI Express installed.

I will try to reset the CMOS after I get home from work, thanks for the hint

Ok...so I did start the PC again and during the idle run the Q-LED indicator was white which says it has a Problem with the VGA. I reseated the GPU and made sure to clean of any dust on the contacts. I also did jump the CLRTC but the Time and date still didn't reset so I don't really know if it worked. Also after turning it on first the yellow light Was on for a short time, then the green one for a longer time and then it jumped to the white one again and when windows was loading, it disappeared. Idk know what to do anymore at this point...

Some keep the time and date until the cmos battery is removed.
Boot to bios and choose set defaults.
can you borrow another video card from your brother ?
Does your brother have a stronger power supply you can test with?

Remove all ram and use 1 stick only. Try if no good use next stick but only 1 stick at a time Slot A2 pic attached

Yes, I noticed that the BIOS settings were reset except the time and date.
I may be able to borrow his new GPU to test it, his PSU however is weaker than mine.

I will try to run it with 1 RAM Stick.

Ok so I am not sure but I took put the RAM in B2 and let it Start up. No effect still idle.
Then I Tool out the A2 and let the B2 run alone and it booted, could be coincidence and I will try it in another hozr or so to make sure.
What would be the procedure if that's really the case? @PeterOz

Undortunately only bad news...I found out 2 new things:
1. It's not relevant if I press F2 or not, pc just boots on the second attempt.
2. An hour or a little more is no indicator for it to work or not, so it's not sure if it is the GPU problem because now I read that it might be a Software problem or drivers interrupting each other.

An hour or a little more is no indicator for it to work or not,
Time should not be a factor.
drivers interrupting each other
You would normally get an error message.
Can you check the Event Viewer logs it should show any driver errors.
Are you able to backup your computer ?
Did you install all the chipset drivers ?
What order did you install them.
It might be best to refresh windows Click On Me
Or a fresh install.
This is a canned from Phillpower2
Once Windows has been clean installed you must then install first the chipset drivers, then the storage/SATA drivers and third the graphics drivers, the drivers can either come from a disk provided by the motherboard manufacturer etc or downloaded from the site and saved to a flash drive etc, this is a must and Windows should not be allowed to check for updates before it has been done as more often than not Windows installs the wrong drivers or in the incorrect order and this can cause all sorts of problems.

I also heard that Windows can cause troubles with installing drivers or updates which should not be installed. I will try this one out, thanks

I did a windows refresh and installed all the drivers new. No effect. At this point I might need to face it and bring my PC to some repair shop and see if they can help me....it's just so frustrating
