This has been months of dealing with this and I've had enough. I've narrowed it down to either a problem with Win10 or mobo.
I updated my Asrock BIOS to the most recent version (that my CPU/chipset supports). I chose the BIOS update that was specifically mentioned for Summit Ridge.
Boom...suddenly, sporadically, my PC freezes then restarts. Sometimes it DOESN'T post or load Windows, but the fans still keep running and lights inside my case are still on.
It seems to crash the most often when I have my browser open for some reason. Yes, it crashes during games, but it crashes far more frequently when I'm on my browser. However, it CAN freeze/restart when I'm simply on my desktop and I just move my mouse. It's so frustrating because its so random. It doesn't matter if I'm putting a load on to my PC or not, playing games or browsing the internet or simply moving my **** mouse.
Just now, it crashed 6 times in 15 minutes while doing things in Chrome. However, I played 3 games just before in League without issue. Sometimes I can go 6 hours, sometimes I can go 2 minutes. EDIT - It froze/restarted while typing this post!
A google search reveals that owners of my ASRock board and Ryzen cpu's have issues with this. But....is this really a Win10 issue?
Please help me! I can't get any work done with random and frequent crashes.

Steps I've Taken So Far
- I have no visible damage to system components. I've reseated everything.
- MemTest had no errors after passes
- I've tested individual memory modules, no change. Bought new memory, no change.
- I purchased a new PSU, works great, no change in problem
- I bought a different graphics card, works great, but no change in problem.
- I've monitored temperatures for CPU, Memory, and GPU and nothing was out of the ordinary.
- Drivers, BIOS, Windows 10 all updated
