I just got this computer and i downloaded kali linux to use for school but ever since then my taskbar is unresponsive and i cant get access to the settings app. I was hoing i could just factory reset but i don tknow how. PLease respond with advice. I have a lenovo thinkpad

I don't believe Linux has a factory reset feature, but with so many distros, and my usage of only 2 or 3 of them, who knows.

I would be getting your previous distro, or any other you want to try, and putting that on a USB and reinstalling from scratch.
