This just started happening recently. When I open file Explorer and go to something like "View" the context menu will pop up and go above the window off screen. I've never had this happen before and I'm not sure what is causing it. As you can see in the screenshot I provided. the very top of the screenshot is the top of my screen. So i have to move the Window down further so i can see everything in the menu. It only happens when i have the Window size smaller. If it's maximized then the menu will open downwards instead of upwards.

Is the screen set to the default screen resolution?
And of course, have you tried changing the resolution, and the scale factor, and see if that helps?

It set to the default resolution, 4k and scaling is set to 225% which is what I've always had it at. I haven't tried changing the scaling though so I suppose when I get home from work tonight I can try changing that and see if it fixes it. I'm going to feel really stupid if it's that simple.

Hey, we have all been there! 🙂

But if they have always been on those settings, then maybe I've got the bull by the horns.
Tweak those two settings and see if anything helps.

just gave it a try and no luck. I even set the scaling smaller to 200% and it still does it. I wonder if it's something to do with a recent Windows 11 update. Although i just checked and the last update was on the 12th and this just started happening only yesterday I think. I did install a new NVIDIA driver update last night. I'm not sure why that would mess up that menu but I'll go ahead and rollback that driver and see if that fixes it.
