I have Linux Mint Cinnamon 19.3 64 bit. I tried to install ( bum ) in terminal it wont let me. How do i fix this my Linux skills are about average. Terminal says (unable to locate package bum ). Thank,s Chuck

Good morning Chuck,

I assume you ran

Code:
sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install bum

What happens when you run
Code:
dpkg -L bum
What does it output?

Hi jmarket i tried sudo apt-get update then sudo apt-get install bum nothing i just tried this again terminal it says,
unable to locate package bum.

When i enter dpkg -L bum in terminal it says,
dpkg-query : package bum is not installed
use dpkg --info ( =dpkg -deb --info ) to examine archive files,
and dpkg --contents ( =dpkg-deb --contents) to list their contents.
Iam lost on this. How do i fix this? My Linux skills are about average.
Thank,s Chuck

It sounds like bum was removed from the repository, which means it's no longer available.

What happens when you run
Code:
apt-cache search bum

It shows alot but i looked at it very careful no mention bum at all. In the terminal. Can i download bum? I just dont no.
Thank,s Chuck

Heres 2 screenshots.
