SSD Physical size and Drive Capacity Question

Status
Not open for further replies.
I recently bought an Acer Aspire E5-575-338M with an Intel I3 processor. It comes with a 256GB SSD and I'd like to install a 1 or 2 TB SSD. I know a lot about HDDs but little ablout SSD's. Do different compuyters limit the size of the SSD? I know there can be limits on HDDs but that's usually when it gets to very largs, like 4TB or more. Whatdo you think?
Thx
