My Razer Barracuda X headset is slightly noisy at full volume and I can't use the 7.1 feature in games. I also can't connect it with a cable. There is no such problem on another computer, so I decided to buy a sound card, but I don't know what kind of card I should buy for gaming and 7.1. Will the product below be enough for gaming.Thanks.

It would be unwise to purchase anything that had no sales/review history.

Most new MBs have more than capable audio chips so perhaps the problem you are having lays elsewhere, be happy to help you check, just let us know.

My MB is MSI H410M PRO-E and says on its website "great sound quality for gaming experience" so I thought the problem might be elsewhere but ı dont know what to do. What else could the problem be? If this few dollars USB sound card may solve this im down to buy it.

Your MB has the same audio chip as most of the other big brands of board makers so I doubt that it is the problem here, a single question will prove or disprove this, do you have any other audio problems other the issue that you have with the Razer headset.

I dont have speakers so i dont have any other output device for sound so I don't know if this problem will happen on another device but headset work totally fine on another pc.

Easiest thing to do is borrow a set of speakers for testing purposes.

You appear to be automatically assuming that this is a problem with the MBs audio chip when it may in fact be with the audio port that you are connected to or even a loose internal connection/wire.

Are you using the rear audio port on the MB or a front audio port on the case.

I cant connect it with cable(3.5mm jack). I plugged the 2.4ghz dongle into one of the usbs on the back of the case. Same problem when connect it with bluetooth.

Why can`t you connect it via the jack port.

Could still be a port issue so ty all other USB ports.

I just tested my old headset not noisy sound at full volume btw.

Are these also wireless.

I don't know, it just doesn't work.

No, I connected it with usb cable.

I'll check the usb ports and get back to you.

Which port does not work, the rear on the MB or the front on the PC case.

The fact that the USB headphones work proves 100% that there is nothing wrong with the MBs audio chip so you may well be looking at a wireless interference problem or static.

Being that the OP revisited the forum but chose not to acknowledge my reply this thread will be closed.
