Solved Some keyboard buttons doesn't work

Hi guys and girls,
I have a laptop keyboard which is working fine EXCEPT that 3 buttons are not working, is it matter of keyboard itself or it might be because of cable connecting keyboard with laptop motherboard? Keyboard was never flooded.

Try another USB port on the computer (If it is a USB keyboard).

Try another keyboard, do any of the keys fail to function?

Is the keyboard's cable removable? If so try a new cable.

almost always will be the keyboard itself.
the data ribbon is under the keyboard and unless the unit has had a severe knock or is very dirty/dusty, the connector should be fine.

as stated, try an external keyboard first.
but yeah - time to source a new keyboard for your make/model of laptop, if you don't want to use an external keyboard.
