Software for scheduled blocking MAC addresses connected to your router with time limit

Hi, I can restrict MAC adresses (devices) by parental control through my router, but this is so complicated.
Is there any software/freeware available that can restrict internet connection of connected devices during certain periods ?

Yes there is, but said software needs to be installed on each PC that you want to restrict.
The classic NetNanny comes to mind.
If there are many devices (desktops, laptops, mobiles) the software solution can be high cost, as is the maintenance to keep the allowed/blocked lists accurate.

The hardware option of using MAC addresses is free and far simpler because it just blocks a device outright.

So it all depends on what you are trying to achieve.
