Hey guys (and gals). I am donating my HP laptop to a church. I am trying to reset it to remove all my stuff My wife’s HP laptop went through the process smoothly. Not so with mine……at 69% it gave me theTPM window to accept or reject. I accepted and reset started over but stopped at 79%. What gives?? Thanks in advance.

I would just go with a clean install, unless you wish to preserve the HP recovery partition.
Download the media creation tool, run it & choose to create media for another PC, choose a USB thumb drive then boot the PC & rapidly click the key corresponding to the temporary boot menu - this can be F2, F7, F8 or F12.

Guys, it has finally come together. Both laptops are ready to be used by the church. Windows 10 installed and it appears all apps, files, etc are long gone. I guess no way to know unless you sign in with MS. Thanks for all your advice. I will make a contribution next week. Happy Holidays to all.
